- Updates from the Board
- President
- Bike to School- Scheduled for 10/8. There will be healthy snacks and water upon arrival, plus munchkins which are being donated by Todd Leonhardt. Sea Girt Recreation has purchased wheel lights that will be given out to each bike rider by the SGPD. If unable to bike, reach out to Mr. Papera to see about getting a bike light for your child.
- Scarecrow Fundraiser- Not a very profitable fundraiser but always fun to look at when driving by the field. The Recreation Director is also interested in partnering with the school to decorate the local store fronts. One suggestion is that the recreation department could provide the supplies and different classes can decorate.
- Fall Social- Plans are in the works. Possible Murder Mystery Bar Crawl. Details to follow.
- Craft Market- Considering an outdoor option this year along Bell Place under pop-up tents. Currently have ~32 vendors interested. Most likely a one day event 11/20 with rain date 11/21. Bake sale is most successful this time of year before Thanksgiving. Volunteers are still needed to help with things such as raffle baskets, the kitchen, ad book, set-up and clean-up. Please reach out to Cate if interested.

- c. Halloween- On Friday, 10/29 students will be dismissed at 12:30 to go home, eat and change into costumes. Jersey Mike lunch orders will be grab & go. Students will return to school at 1:45. Parade will be outdoors, weather permitted, or inside and live-streamed. Class parents are allowed to bring a treat and craft for classroom parties, but no parents are allowed in the building.

- A. Claire Beggans- Scholastic Book Fair will be 10/5-10/7 and organized similarly to last year. Book bins will be outside by the garden and students will have a set day to shop.
