We are in the Home Stretch of the 2018-2019 PTO Season.
Field Day
The Field Day preparations are in full swing. We look forward to good weather and a great time. The students really look forward to this during the last week of school. It is planned for June 17th. The PTO and it’s volunteers are working with Mr. Wnek and staff to make it a success. Stay tuned for additional information and items needed for this day.
Memorial Day Games
Thank you for all the volunteers and supporters of the Memorial Day events, starting with the band, the parade, and the games at Baltimore Park. There are many people and organizations that make this possible. It was a great day both weather wise and community wise where everyone came together to help, honor and make sure that the children and the community had an enjoyable time.
The Sea Girt PTO will continue to take donations for the military. We will leave a donation bin at the school until the end of the week, June 7th. The items can be dropped off at school in the donation bin. We will than put everything together with the post cards that were written and send it off to the troops. I am certain it will be greatly appreciated.
Below is a flyer with a listing of items that can be dropped off at the school until June 7th.

Spring Social-Updates
Thank you for all who came out for the Spring Social and supported the school the students and their activities with their ticket purchases and silent auction. The volunteers and vendors did a great job and we couldn’t be more thankful. The monies raised will go to much needed programs for the students.
Capital Requests
This is the time of year that the Sea Girt PTO Board request Capital Expenditure request from both teachers and parents. Please see the link below for the request form. Once all requests are submitted by the deadline the Sea Girt PTO will consider all requests, prioritize and try to fill all if not most of the requests as possible with the funds available. The PTO can never have enough volunteers so if you still are interested we have some open positions listed below. We have a lot of great events coming up from now until the end of the year. These events are not possible without the help of all the parents and volunteers. Continue to reach out to anyone of us of come to a PTO meeting to see how you can help move forward the mission of the Sea Girt PTO with your involvement or volunteer effort. It can be time, a donation, work behind the scenes helping to get sponsors or anything else that you think may help. We are open to all types of involvement and it does not necessarily have to be a time commitment. In addition, the committee descriptions and volunteer sign up will be available soon on our Sea Girt PTO website. Keep an eye out for a blast regarding same.

- The weekly newsletters (you’re reading it!)
- Additions to the Tuesday and Friday school emails
- Our new website (newsletters, events, store, contact form, and more)
- Our PTO email: ptoboard@seagirtpto.com
- PTO Meetings – You’re invited! Please join us monthly to discuss current issues, fundraising, events, volunteering, programs, goals, and anything else important to supporting our school.
- In Person – You can always approach anyone on the PTO board at school, on the playground, around town, or any way you choose.
Please let us know what’s working for you (and what isn’t). If there is anything would like to see us do differently, please let us know. We’re listening on all channels!
The PTO thanks all the families for their continued support in moving forward all the activities and fundraisers throughout the year. Without the support of the administration and families we could not meet our mission.

The Sea Girt PTO Board
