PTO Newsletter – January 26th, 2020
Remember this is the “Week of Kindness” As we do everyday we should all strive to practice the basics of kindness and be great role models for our children and students. Can’t wait to see what the students have in store for the week ahead. Sure it will be inspirational!

FATHER DAUGHTER DANCE
The Father Daughter dance will take place this year at the Spring Lake Golf Club on Sunday February 23rd. Mark your calendars, invitations went home this past week with the oldest daughter. Plan ahead the theme is “Under the Sea!” Thanks for all the work that Kerri and Jenn have done to make this event special.
Just a reminder that at the Spring Lake Golf Club venue men must wear a blazer. Payment will be taken via checks only. A box has been set up in the main office for checks. Any other questions should be directed toward Jenn Perry via call or text at 732 963 5171.
PTO Board Meeting February 18th, 2020
In an effort to get more members out to meetings the PTO is considering offering Babysitting services at the meeting. There would be older students available to watch younger children during the meeting. The PTO is working with Superintendent and the School to try to make this an option. Stay tuned for further details as this unfolds.
PTO Board 2020-2021
There will be numerous open positions in the upcoming school year on the PTO Board. Anyone interested in serving should contact a Board Member for more information about what is involved with each position. You can also speak with either Alice Keefe, Devon Smith or Kerry Tarigo as they are the committee to help vet out and recruit for the new slate of Executive PTO Committee Members. Think about how you can contribute and help the school, students, community, teachers and staff by participating in the Sea Girt PTO. It is rewarding, fulfilling opportunity and is integral to numerous programs, scholarships, trips, events, enrichment programs, assemblies and so much more that benefits the school at large.

2019-2020
The PTO thanks all the families for their continued support in moving forward all the activities and fundraisers throughout the year. Without the support of the administration, faculty, staff and families we could not meet our goals and carry forward our mission.
The PTO utilizes digital channels to help enhance our communication. Here are the many ways you can keep up with PTO activities:
- The weekly newsletters (you’re reading it!)
- Additions to the Tuesday and Friday school emails
- Our new website (newsletters, events, store, contact form, and more)
- Our PTO email: ptoboard@seagirtpto.com
- PTO Meetings – You’re invited! Please join us monthly to discuss current issues, fund raising, events, volunteering, programs, goals, and anything else important to supporting our school.
- In Person – You can always approach anyone on the PTO board at school, on the playground, around town, or any way you choose.
Please let us know what’s working for you (and what isn’t). If there is anything would like to see us do differently, please let us know. We’re listening on all channels!
